Availability of Legal Notices as per N.J.S.A. 35:3-3 & LFN 2026-01
In accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 35:3-3 and Local Finance Notice (LFN 2026-01), the Carlstadt–East Rutherford Regional Board of Education hereby provides notice that the complete text of all public and legal notices issued by the Board of Education may be viewed by the public on the District’s official website.
PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE- JULY MEETING SCHEDULED FOR THIRD WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH INSTEAD OF ON THE LAST WEDNESDAY TO PRESENT THE REGULAR MONTHLY BUSINESS OF THE BOARD AND TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SUPERINTENDENT'S CONTRACT.
In accordance with the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, the Carlstadt-East Rutherford Regional Board of Education is causing notice of the following:
REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING

The Board of Education is reviewing the Superintendent of Schools Contract of Employment. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:11-11, a public hearing will be held at the beginning of the Board of Education meeting being held on July 15, 2026. Following the public hearing, Board action may be taken. A copy of the proposed Contract of Employment will be placed on file in the Board's business office and will be available for review prior to or at the public hearing.
The Board, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b), the Open Public Meetings Act, shall not publicly discuss personnel matters and shall not respond to comments made by members of the public. The subject of this hearing retains the right of privacy and shall retain all rights regarding defamation and slander according to the laws of New Jersey. The Board shall not be held liable for comments made by members of the public.
