Board of Education

The Carlstadt-East Rutherford Regional Board of Education is a ten-member board with four members elected from Carlstadt, five members elected from East Rutherford, and one representative member from Maywood. Each member is elected for a 3-year term. 

The board regular public meetings are held once a month on the last Wednesday of every month at 5:00 PM in the Media Center, unless otherwise noted and wherever the date is a recognized legal holiday. VACANCY

CARLSTADT –EAST RUTHERFORD
REGIONAL BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Carlstadt – East Rutherford Regional Board of Education hereby gives notice
that due to the resignation of a Carlstadt trustee, a vacancy exists immediately on the
Carlstadt-East Rutherford Regional Board of Education for the unexpired term until
December 31, 2025.

Carlstadt residents who are eighteen years of age or older who are interested in
filling this vacancy should submit a letter of interest no later than 3 p.m., Friday,
August 16, 2024 by email.
